Abstract
This work has as aim the knowledge of dental histology to help the neural therapist to understand the neuroregulation in the vascularity of the teeth and help to the scientific community to design future studies from the inmunohistologic analysis and the use of neural therapy. Methodology: bibliographical review. Search of articles in Pubmed. Results: The dental pulp presents great sensitive fibers (overcoat fibers C) proceeding from the trigeminal ganglion that are accumulated in the subodontoblastic cell layer or plexus of raschkow. Some fibers can come up to the dentine across the dentinal tubules. They have revealed neuropeptides as the CGRP and the substance P which take part in the inflammatory processes producing vasodilation. Conclusions: The study realized by Olgart L relates the neurovegetative and vascular system in oral tissues and released of neuropeptids. The experimental dental models of Byers might be used to analyze the influence of the neural therapy in inflammatory processes.
